Sot de Chera and Chera are two charming villages, just an hour from Valencia and located in the heart of the Chera-Sot de Chera Natural and Geological Park. We have over 10 hiking trails and 4 mountain biking routes. You can plan the perfect getaway combining sport, nature, relaxation, and family time!
What you can't miss
In Sot de Chera: a stroll through the village (there’s a very interesting historical route!), exploring the trails that wind through the Natural Park, enjoying a swim in the Gruñidor pool, seeing the Toscas rock formations in spring, and climbing to the Morrón viewpoint!
In Chera: the La Garita waterfall and the Buseo reservoir.

Hiking:
10 hiking routes that pass through Sot de Chera will take you through the Chera-Sot de Chera Natural Park, and through these marked routes you can also reach Chera, Chulilla… Enjoying hiking you can discover the towns that surround us!
BTT:
Four mountain bike routes pass through Sot de Chera, allowing you to enjoy cycling and discover our natural surroundings at the same time. Geology, beautiful landscapes, sport, and above all, abundant nature, all very close to you.
Parties and events:
Sot de Chera is a very lively village, with numerous events, activities and celebrations throughout the year: the Bonfires, the Santa Ana festivities and many more… And guided tours of the village every Sunday!

In addition to the hiking trails that will take you through the mountains and our natural surroundings, in Sot de Chera and Chera there are also family-friendly routes, designed to help you discover our environment with children, without getting tired and enjoying yourselves at all times, whether near the river, through the historic center of Sot de Chera…
Multi-adventure:
PauNatura organizes multi-adventure activities inside and outside the El Cerrao grounds: climbing wall, adventure park, archery, river activities, workshops for children, etc.
Services in the town
In Sot de Chera you’ll find a bakery, a grocery store, a butcher shop, and numerous bars, as well as the El Cerrao restaurant.
There’s also a doctor’s office, taxis, and a bus to Valencia (book in advance).
